What can I Store?

For the health & safety and security of all our customers, we do not permit the storage of the following in our facilities:

Contraband, or Illegal goods of any kind. – Toxic waste, polluted or contaminated or infested goods. Radioactive, flammable fuels, or hazardous chemicals as goods or as waste. Firearms, munitions, explosives or incendiaries. Cash, precious metals, jewels or securities. Living plants, animals, food or other perishable consumables.

What happens about Furniture or other items that I don't want to place in store?

We are licensed to legally dispose of them for you, or deliver them to the charity of your choice.

Will there be any hidden extras or other charges?

No, everything is confirmed with you in writing before we begin. We are an Approved & Recommended Storage company working to high standards using best practice at all times.

We provide fair, honest, & straightforward Storage Pricing. Our prices & additional extra service values are very competitive when compared by price & room size against the other storage companies in London, especially where an element of guesswork or a lack of knowledge has been involved.

Can I change the size of my storage unit up or down if needed?

Yes, you can change your unit size anytime, or take an extra temporary unit.

Insurance For Managed Storage?

i.e. where we hold the unit keys, and you want us to provide the cover we charge a small % premium based on your monthly invoice amount, included in your Quotation. If you don’t wish to take our Insurance then our Minimum liability will apply, please see

What shall I do with my Fridge/ Freezer / Washing Machine / Dishwasher?

Run down your fridge/freezer contents during the days before you move it, & check it’s dry inside. You don’t want water leaking out into your storage! Carefully read & check the notes in your machines hand book to prepare it safely for movement.

Remember if you are planning to dispose of your old fridge/freezer there is now an extra charge made by all local authorities for this disposal.

What is the minimum/maximum period for storage rental?

One week is the minimum, and our week is Monday to Sunday, but you can stay for as many years as you want to! We have many long term storage customers who are working abroad, or elsewhere in the UK.

What is Managed Storage & how is it different to Self Storage?

Managed Storage is where we do all the work for you. A lot of people are far too busy to deal with running a storage unit as well. We move items in and out of your storage unit as required and we keep an up to date Inventory of all items.

Every Managed Storage client has their own unit. All units at our premises are fully protected, and we never mix different clients goods up in the same unit. Self Storage means we supply you with the storage unit & you have sole access to bring goods in & out, 7 days a week.

Do you have any discounts or other offers?

Yes we always have competitive prices & special offers, i.e. take 3 months storage & get 3 weeks free, or take 6 months storage & get 6 weeks free!

Clients who use our removals service or buy our packing materials also get a discount, and we will compete with any other reasonable quote that you have.

Got a North London postcode?, then its 10% off your storage when you use our services.

How do I know my possessions will be safe in your storage area?

24/7 Safeguarding Security, every day of the year, complete around the clock protection. No one can enter your Storage Room, unless you give us full written permission. We have high definition CCTV, and extra protection with a Perimeter Beaming System Alarm, there are randomly timed Security Foot Patrols – 24/7.

All individual storage room units are alarmed & have their own unique area security pin number, and All site visitors must report on arrival at Security Barrier & then provide us with a written ‘authority to access’ ID. All our staff are fully checked.

No one else can have access to your goods unless you have given a prior full written instruction & your nominated visitor presents the correct ID.

What happens about Insurance?

You declare the total value of your goods when we prepare your storage quotation, we also advise you check your home contents insurance cover to see if it can be applied in storage.

What payment methods are available?

You can pay by BACS, or debit card, or standing order, or by cheque, but credit cards are subject to a small admin charge.

How often can I get access to my unit?

Self storage is open 7 days a week for you to visit & our managed storage service is available during our business hours.
